How do emotional triggers govern our behaviour in a supposedly rational age?

Do our emotions make us human, or keep us animal?

Hearts and Minds is another in a series of seminars investigating the often unrecognised psychological patterns that are a part of all of our lives. Once more, we shall be seeking insights and answers from a variety of experts, who will approach the subject from widely differing fields. Among other things, our speakers will explore how easy it is to manipulate our moods, and what positive role emotions play in our lives.
